Humanities 2 has to be the stupidest class I've ever taken. We don't do ANYTHING at all. We are given a project to make a brochure or a poster, with our group, and then we sit there all period doing nothing. It's so stupid. I hate group projects. And in the english portion of humanities we have a student-teacher. This is supposed to be an enriched class, and we're given a student teacher? I don't feel as if humanities 2 is meeting the requirements of an enriched course. Posters and brochures to do with a group aren't enriched. They're a waste of time.
I'd much rather sit in class and actually be tought something and be given a test or quiz. I don't think we have had one test or quiz in english all marking period.

Well it has been awhile since I last updated. Not much has happened lately. On Saturday I went to the movies to see White Noise with jesse bryan and angela. blah, the movie was horrible. It was one of the worst movies I've seen in awhile. There wasn't even one seen that was scary. =( I dont recommend seeing it. Then I went to the mall. I saw Mike there, Keri and some other people. Ate Japanese food. Bryan slept over.
Sunday--
I wake up sick. Turns out that I had food poisoning, and to top it off I was sore from exercising the other day =/ ..didn't do anything all day. played guitar if that counts as anything. then talked to fionna on the phone! finally!
today
Woke up. Exercised. Played Guitar. Ate Lunch. Went Running. Talked Online. Watched Meet The Fockers. Bored. Now I'm here!!
So yeah..thursday is the model congress trip! I can't wait. I get to miss finals!! woohoo!

My last entry was not meant to be a homosexuality "bashing" entry.. It was meant to inform you all what is currently undergoing within our state. The entry that I posted upset me. It made me realize exactly why they think homosexuality is OK...
Some people consider those who are against homosexuality as "close-minded", however, I do not see the logic or the reasoning behind this argument. Does not agreeing with another person make somebody close-minded? Everyone who calls the people "against homosexuality" close-minded are also being close minded! What is the difference? Neither of the beliefs accept each other. That being said, I think I can now safely say that calling religious people close minded for not accepting homosexuality is no longer a valid argument.
Another argument that I have heard a lot lately is that God created everybody equally. Those people who say that are correct. God did create everyone equally. What does this mean? Everyone of this earth came from a man and a woman (except Jesus). Every man being created equal also means that there is no man or woman for that matter who is better than another man or woman.
Some people say that since everyone was created equally that homosexuals should be allowed to marry. What I ask is why? It is true that God created everyone equally, but what does homosexual marriage have anything to do with equality? Just because everyone was born equal to one another does not mean that some people should be given "privileges" to go against what is right.
Another Example: If a there is a non-homosexual man who wants to marry a man he will NOT be allowed to marry that man, however, if that same non-homosexual man wants to marry a woman he is allowed to!
That sounds fair to me. Everyone has the equal opportunity to get married. What the homosexuals and homosexual supporters want is special privileges! What is the equality behind giving people benefits over others?
Another argument that homosexual supporters use is that "if they marry each other it will not affect you in any way."
Actually..this again is not true. It is surprising how many ways homosexual marriage affects the ones I love, our country and myself.
Who are you to be so close-minded to call 5,000 years of history wrong!? For the last 5,000 years, maybe even more for that matter, every great nation has condemned homosexual marriage. Every major religion has condemened homosexual marriage. Who are you to go against 5,000 years of history and beliefs?
But of course, in response to that homosexual supports will say, "They were ways of the past, now is the time of reform."
Well, that was what the Romans said. The Romans practiced homosexuality (they did not allow them to marry though). It can be argued that the Romans practicing homosexuality eventually lead to their downfall. The Romans were an imperialist empire. The largest empire ever. As the Romans grew in size, to accommodate their large area of land they would have also needed the more troops to defend their land, however, this was not possible. By romans having homosexual orgies they neglected the family unit. By being too busy having sex with the same sex they were not able to produce babies, who would later become soldiers and be able to defend their empire. Yes, it is now the time of reform, but lets learn from history, lets not make the same mistake twice
Last, but not least, the argument that homosexual marriage would not affect others in any way. This again is not true.
Actually, you would be surprised by how many ways I and many other people are affected by homosexual marriage.
What happens in the future if homosexual marriage is legalized? Since I am strong in my Christian faith I do not fear that my faith will be damaged by this because it will not "directly affect me," so to say. However, I do fear for my children's faith (when I have them) and for some family and friends who are not very strong in the Christian faith. If they are told by worldly influences that homosexual marriage is alright, or even homosexuality for that matter, they of course WILL most likely see nothing wrong with homosexuality. My friend's and family's loss of faith WILL have a direct impact on my life! It is almost like Domino's. Them losing their faith eventually reaches me on a personal level..because they are not christian and do not share my faith.
Do I want my kids being raised in an immoral world? No
Do I want my kids to be Christians? Yes
Will they be able to accept Christianity in a world that is immoral? Most likely not.
Do I want my friends to be Christians? Yes
Will the be able to accept Christianity in an immoral world? Most likely not.
Homosexuality will also affect me because of the ways mentioned in the previous topics..

Today in New Jersey they are having a supreme court case on whether or not to legalize same sex marriage in New Jersey. I really do hope that there are still some sensible people left in New Jersey and that they who are on the supreme court vote against same sex marriage. If they DO legalize same sex marriage then whatever, we will all just have to hope and PRAY that an amendment is passed banning it. Anyway, you gay marriage supports can not argue with the truth and what is right because what is true and right will always be true and right.
Lets hope for the best!

yeh, i haven't updated in over a month..im bored with xanga...so ill use it to ..rant?
well, i realized once something good happens, something bad will happen (which is equal and opposite to the good thing that just happened). this year started out great, with a lot of good happening..but now my life is almost falling apart..nobody notices me anymore. anywhere and everywhere i go..i still go unnoticed. it's like not one person cares for me, not even family and the people who were once close friends..i feel as if i could slowly fade away, without leaving any trace of my existence, and all will forget that i ever was.. i used to think that i was depressed.. until recently i discovered that depression is nothing more than a sarcastic state of mind. maybe im just sad, or am overreacting. i dont care. whatever it is, i wish i got even half the attention and affection that i used to get from people..

Tonight, I found out for the last year and a half I have been mislead to believe something that isn't true. Why would somebody tell a person something for a very long period of time..and then tell you something that completely goes against everything that they have told you?..I feel so horrible..And to think, I actually thought that I was of some importance to you..It's just like wow..I thought that I really was...special? needed? important? eh, I can't seem to think of the right word right now for it. But I felt really good about whatever I thought I was to you..Then finding out I'm nothing..really was an unexpected letdown.
Maybe I am experiencing what a lot of people call 'drama'. Man, I really hate that word. It's so lame. Maybe it's my own fault for being dumb enough to trust somebody. It will never happen again. If I could not trust you..who can I trust?
I will remember to remember to forget you forgot me...

yeah, I need to start updating more.
I would update more if i actually did stuff worth mentioning.
yeah, well yesterday was wednesday and i was supposed to study for my history test. so i went upstairs to my room to study. i read my book for like 5 minutes then fell asleep for 45.
i need to become a better student
we had our history test today. it turned out the test was easy. yay for the not studying people passing tests!
i like brownies.
needless to say my house lacks brownies at this time..

later tonight i get my braces taken off..finally.
